Message from the Owner
I just wanted to give you some background about myself and the truck; hoping to answer some questions you may have regarding either. I medically retired from the Army in 2003 after 17 years and one month of active service in the Ranger Regiment and Special Forces. After a few years in the Middle East and Africa working on DoS and DoD contracts, I decided to use my G.I. Bill to go back to school to become an automotive tech. I was an ASE Master Tech for fifteen years and was even briefly on the T.V. show Junkyard Empire as the lead mechanic.
As for the truck, I drove it off the showroom floor in April of 2019 with only six miles on the odometer; I put the seventh mile on it during the test drive and bought it immediately. I kept the truck pretty stock for the first year I owned it and used it as a daily driver. When COVID hit in 2020, I converted the truck for overland/camping so that my family and I could get out of the house and enjoy the outdoors. Needless to say, it served us well and was always the talk of the town whenever we went camping. I was once again forced to medically retire from being a Master Tech about a year and a half ago; I was simply physically incapable of doing the job because of both old and new injuries. Unfortunately, this also left me physically incapable of using the truck for overlanding as I was incapable of setting it up even with the assistance of my wife and two small children (seven and nine at the time). To put it simply, I love the truck but would rather have it owned by someone you can use and appreciate it to its fullest. Having said that, I’m neither desperate nor destitute and REFUSE to simply give the truck away or sell it for the KBB trade-in price. As you can see from the itemized list of quality upgrades (which does not include tax, shipping, or installation) my asking price is more than fair. Please feel free to ask any further questions you may have.
